Bullet For My Valentine adalah band metalcore yang berasal dari Bridgend, Wales yang terbentuk pada tahun 1998. Band ini berkomposisi :
Matt Tuck (lead vocals, rhythm guitar)
Michael Paget(lead guitar, backing vocals)
Jason James(bass guitar, backing vocals)
Michael Thomas(drum)

 

Mereka terbentuk dengan nama Jeff Killed John dan memulai karir musik mereka dengan mengcover lagu lagu dari Nirvana dan Metallica. Tahun 2002, band ini menandatangani kontrak 5 album dengan SONY BMG. Band ini telah menyatakan bahwa influence mereka berasal dari Metallica, Iron Maiden dan Slayer.


Album pertama Bullet for My Valentine(BFMV), The Poison dirilis tanggal 3 Oktober 2005 di Inggris dan 14 Februari 2006 di Amerika Serikat bertepatan dengan hari valentine dan sesuai dengan nama band mereka. Album mereka memasuki billboard 200 di AS di peringkat 128.Album studio kedua BFMV, Scream Aim Fire, dirilis tanggal 29 Januari 2008 mendapatkan posisi ke-4 di billboard 200. Album ketiga BFMV, Fever, dirilis tanggal 26 April 2010 dan mendapatkan peringkat ke-3 di billboard 200. Band ini telah mendapatkan penghargaan sebagain band Inggris terbaik sebanyak 3 kali oleh Kerrang!
